Originally developed as an internal security and public order vehicle, the RG-12 has proved to be highly effective in a number of other applications such as command vehicle, cash-in-transit vehicle, bullion carrier, tactical rescue vehicle, armoured ambulance, armoured logistics vehicle, and surveillance vehicle.
